Desert and Horses!!

One of my favorite quotes from the book "The Alchemist" is when the boy said to the the Alchemist "I don't know the Language of the Desert, but my horse knows the Language of Life."
The most splendid thing about the book "The Alchemist" is that it has so many different interpretations for different people. Our interpretation will be how we view Life and how we connect to the Soul of the World.

My Interpretation - The Desert in the quote here is representative of Life and Horses here is our feelings.

We could navigate through life by using our feelings. We could listen to them. We might not know how to find our life's purpose or meaning yet. We know that there is a purpose but we don't know where to look. But we could use our feelings, listen to them to find our life's purpose. This is how we get in touch with the Soul of the World to find our true calling in pursuing our destiny.

There is another quote from the book where the Alchemist says "Tomorrow, sell your camel and buy a horse. Camel are traitorous; they walk thousands of paces and never seem to tire. Then suddenly, they kneel and die. But horses tire bit by bit. You always know how much you can ask of them, and when it is that they are about to die."

Camel is when we live our life not following our true calling. Horses is when we live our life listening to our heart, following our dream, cause that is where we will find our treasure through the Love that speaks the Language of the World.
